Hello there! I’m Surya Shreejith, a high school student at John C.Kimball High School in Tracy,

California, and I am a pianist and percussionist that is pursuing classical music. I have been a school

band member for over 6 years as a percussionist, and have 2+ years of experience in my High School

Marching Band as a main member of the drum-line. Being a pianist, I am currently Trinity Grade 5

Certified in Piano Performance. In addition, I also completed an intermediate, online, non – credit

music theory course from the California University of the Arts to further boost my credentials in

regards to music.

 

I am a 2 time District Honor Band Member for Tracy Unified School District, and a 1 time County Honor

Band Member for San Joaquin County.  In addition, I also run an online brand that uploads musical

education videos on Youtube and provides coursework to help prepare piano students for

internationally accredited piano performance exams.

 

In my free time, I like to learn new things in the fields of computer science and play cricket as a pass –

time
